He will cover proper tooling installation, documentation of setup, and provide information to better understand tooling adjustments. Brian will cover this topic within Workshop Group B on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 10:50 am-11:50 am CST in the Blues Room.
Paul Williams – World Class Roll Forming Workshop – Cutoff Technology
Paul will speak about aspects of cutoff technology. This presentation will cover slug-type cutoff dies, slugless crop cutoff dies. He will also cover information that will provide a better understanding of combination cutoff dies and will review cutoff press types: air, mechanical, and hydraulic. Paul is scheduled to cover cutoff technology within Workshop Group C on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 1 pm-2 pm CST in the Gospel Room.
Brian Kopack – Pipe & Tube Memphis - Advanced Roll Forming and Welding Considerations
Hear Brian Kopack, Vice President of Sales, as he addresses the strategy and options in processing styles to assure the forming process matches the welding process. The purpose of this presentation is to help the attendee select the processing style for a particular welded shape. This is often one of the first steps in determining how the producer goes about deciding how to make a particular welded cross-section or shape. Brian will speak on May 1, 2019, from 1:30 pm-1:55 pm CST in the PT Theater.
