Formtek’s Brian Rodgers to Speak at Roll Forming Conference

Formtek is proud to announce that Brian Rodgers, Senior Application Sales Engineer, will speak at the upcoming FMA 2021 World-Class Roll Forming Workshop. The World-Class Roll Forming Workshop will take place November 2-3, 2021 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Interested in learning the ins and outs of roll forming tooling installation? Brian will share his knowledge about standards for proper roll tooling installation and how to set up lines to ensure product quality and process efficiency. About Brian Rodgers
Brian began his experience as a roll form operator, realized he had a great interest in roll form methodology, and entered an apprenticeship program to learn troubleshooting and department leadership. During the apprenticeship, his duties included new tooling tryout, troubleshooting of roll form processes, set up, and leadership.

Brian became a supervisor with duties including scheduling and troubleshooting of 22 roll mill lines, 25 operators, and set up personnel. He then expanded into tool engineering where he focused on new tooling and continuous improvement projects. Additional duties included new tooling and equipment buy offs.

Today, Brian is a Senior Applications Sales Engineer, where his experience helps create solutions for Formtek customers in the industry of roll forming through equipment and tooling. Brian is a member and a Past Chair of FMA’s Roll Forming Council.

About World-Class Roll Forming Workshop 2021
Roll formers, suppliers, and industry experts will gather in the Steel City for two days of interactive presentations, a plant tour, networking, and the popular Roll Forming Jeopardy. The new presentation format is designed to allow more industry-expert collaboration to provide a more comprehensive learning experience. Presentations are organized into four tracks: roll forming systems, tool design and installation, ancillary equipment and processing, and inputs, outputs, and troubleshooting.
