Yoder, a member of the Formtek Group, is pleased to announce that their tube mills will be available from Universal Tube of Perrysburg, Ohio, USA. Universal Tube will offer the 3.125” (80 mm) OD Mill, which covers the common size range for producers of mechanical tubing. The tube mill will be built at Formtek’s facility in Cleveland and integrated with line electrics, entry equipment, welder, and cutoff by Universal, in Perrysburg, Ohio, outside of Toledo.
“We have worked with Universal on used machinery for years. Working with them on these new tube mill opportunities is a natural fit,” stated Jack Pennuto Jr., Formtek’s Sr. Vice President. “Universal has a connection to the installed user base and this Yoder tube mill enables customers to move their 2.5” bore tooling from old mills onto this new machinery, with higher production speeds and quick change over, thanks to Yoder’s rafted design and new controls from Universal Controls Group.”
