An Industry Milestone Comes Home
We have some exciting news to share with the roll forming community. For the first time in the history of FMA's World-Class Roll Forming Workshop, the event is coming to us. The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) has chosen Formtek's brand new headquarters in Twinsburg, Ohio as the host site for the 2026 edition of this premier industry gathering, scheduled for April 21 and 22, 2026.
This is a meaningful moment for everyone at Formtek. After completing our move to our state of the art 117,000 square foot facility in Twinsburg in May 2025, we are proud to welcome the roll forming community through our doors for what promises to be one of the most memorable editions of this long running event.
What Is the World-Class Roll Forming Workshop?
For more than 25 years, FMA's World-Class Roll Forming Workshop has served as the industry's most comprehensive educational gathering for professionals working in and around the roll forming space. Whether you are a seasoned engineer, a shop floor operator, a designer, or a supervisor looking to sharpen your team's skills, this workshop is built with you in mind.
This immersive two day program covers the full spectrum of roll forming, from fundamentals to advanced applications, through 12 informative sessions led by industry experts. Attendees gain practical takeaways they can apply immediately on the shop floor or in design and engineering environments, see best practices in action during a guided facility tour, and connect with fellow professionals at a networking reception capped off with Roll Forming Jeopardy.
Why Twinsburg Is the Right Place for This Event
Hosting the workshop at Formtek's new Twinsburg facility gives this year's attendees something no previous edition has offered: an inside look at a cutting edge, purpose built metal forming operation. Spread over 117,000 square feet, the facility features dedicated zones for fabrication, assembly, and testing, designed to streamline workflows for both large scale roll formers and precision tube mills. Formtek integrates engineering, manufacturing, and tooling teams under one roof, bolstering efficiency and communication across core brand lines like Yoder, Lockformer Custom Machinery, Hill Engineering, B&K, Dahlstrom, Tishken, and Winpro.
When you tour this facility during the workshop, you will not be walking through a showroom. You will be walking through a fully operational, modern manufacturing campus that reflects where the industry is headed.
Twelve Sessions Covering the Complete Roll Forming Spectrum
The 2026 workshop features 12 in depth sessions spanning everything from foundational roll forming principles to advanced troubleshooting, tooling optimization, material considerations, lubrication and coolant selection, cutoff technology, and more. The curriculum is designed to deliver value regardless of where you are in your career. Sessions are led by recognized experts from across the industry, including speakers from organizations such as AMS Controls, Metform International, voestalpine Roll Forming Corp, Shape Corp, Data M Sheet Metal Solutions, Tower Metalworking Fluids, and Formtek itself.
Formtek Experts on the Agenda
As in years past, Formtek's own experts will be active participants in the program, not just as hosts but as presenters contributing deep technical knowledge to the curriculum. Paul Williams, Vice President of Business Development at Hill Engineering and Formtek, and Brian Rodgers, Senior Applications Engineer at Formtek, are expected to share their expertise across multiple sessions. Both are well known to the World-Class Roll Forming community, and attendees who have heard them speak before already know they bring both technical depth and real world practicality to every topic they tackle.
Roll Forming Jeopardy Returns
No World-Class Roll Forming Workshop would be complete without the event that has become a beloved tradition of its own. Paul Williams will once again host Roll Forming Jeopardy, the networking reception game that tests attendees' knowledge of all things roll forming in a fun, spirited, and competitive setting. Workshop speakers serve as judges, the audience gets involved, and the bragging rights are very real. If you have never participated, this alone is worth the trip.
Registration Details and Pricing
Registration for the 2026 World-Class Roll Forming Workshop is now open. The standard registration price is $895, and FMA members receive a discounted rate of $695, a savings of $200 or more. Spaces are limited, so early registration is strongly encouraged. The event is designed to stay small enough to be personal and interactive, and spots fill up quickly each year.
