Formtek is delighted to announce Rob Pitrone as its new Operations Manager. Rob will complete a six-month training program exposing him to all aspects within every department of the company before taking over as the Operations Manager. After training is complete, he will take on his leadership role as he becomes responsible for the Formtek factory and all its operations.
Rob is an experienced professional who brings several years of leadership in military, business, and manufacturing and will help lead Formtek into the future. Previously, Rob served as a Machining Manager at Federal Gear, a General Manager at McNeil Industries, and has CNC machining background. With an associate degree in Computer Aided Product Design, Rob is also well-versed in a variety of CNC programming languages.
Rob’s background in machining will be most helpful to Formtek by improving efficiencies at the production level and advancing the skillsets of the employees. Some of the objectives Rob will work toward include:
- Spearheading innovative strategic thinking
- Managing company resources productively
- Directing the staff development process; mento and train employees to help develop and advance their skills
- Overseeing day-to-day operations
