Winpro, a brand of the Formtek Group and manufacturer of innovative and dependable equipment for the fenestration industry, recently announced the Screen Express® Screen Assembly Machine has recently been redesigned. The redesign improved on the already robust design of the Screen Express, as well as updating the controls and safety circuitry. The improvements to the carriage and spline head actuators ensure smooth travel. The new Z-axis position system simplifies the adjustment and ensures repeatable positioning. Automatic frame fixturing is activated by an improved 2D barcode scanning capability, in addition to the existing 1D barcode or FTP download. The number of available styles has also been increased. The redesigned Screen Express has already been sold to suppliers in the fenestration industry.
